Ask for the same thing two ways and you get two different games.
None of this is hard. Five things are enough.

  1. 01

    Start with how it plays

This one matters most. Say how you move and what counts as winning, before anything else. Not "a cool game" but "tap to jump, dodge ten pits and you win".

The Studio composer: plus button, "Tell me anything" box and the Send button
  2. 02

Ask for one thing at a time

"Add enemies and sound and change the colors" tends to leave all three half-done. Ask for one, play it, then ask for the next.

  3. 03

Put the look and sound into words

You don't have to draw anything. "Pixel art", "a city at night", "pastel colors", "a small effect on landing" — just write the mood down.

  4. 04

    Point at assets by number

Insert from the asset library tags them in the box as 【1】. Write "make 【1】 the main character" and that exact image gets used.

  5. 05

    Open long requests up

The bottom right of the box goes full screen. When you have a lot to say it is easier to write, and easier to reread before you send.

The full-screen "Enter message" editor with a large text area, Cancel and Send

If something goes wrong

When what comes back is not what you pictured, saying what's off beats resending the same message. Pick one thing: "the enemies are too fast", "the sound is too loud".

Liked the old one better? Version history in the + menu opens an earlier version, and Restore brings it back.

Don't aim for perfect on the first go. Make something rough, play it, fix one thing at a time. It is the fastest way, and the most fun.
