Free usually comes with a catch, so here is ours up front: DreamCore has a free plan, it is the one you land on, and it lets you make games, generate the images in them, and publish them. What it caps is how much you can make in a day. Everything else on this page is the detail behind that sentence.

What you get without paying

The free plan is not a trial version of the product with the interesting parts removed. It is the product, metered.

On it you can make games by chatting, get the artwork generated along with them, and publish what you make so other people can play it. A game made on the free plan and a game made on a paid one are the same kind of thing, because the plan only decides how often you can press the button.

You start by signing in with Google, Apple or an email address. There is no payment step in front of that. You only see a plan screen if you go looking for one, or if you run into a limit and want more room the same day.

The reason a limit exists at all is not artificial scarcity. Every game you ask for is a few minutes of real work happening on machines that cost money to run. Metering that is what keeps a free tier possible at all.

Free for the people who play it too

This is the half people forget to check.

When you send someone your game, they pay nothing and sign up for nothing. The link opens in a browser and the game starts. No app store, no account, no email address handed over. It works on a phone with tap and swipe and on a computer with keyboard and mouse, so you can drop the link into any chat without asking what device anyone is on.

Logging in only becomes relevant on their side if they want to leave you a reaction or a message in the guestbook, or if they want their own name on the leaderboard instead of appearing as Anonymous. Playing itself is never gated.

That matters more than the price of making, honestly. A game nobody can open costs you the audience, and an audience is the whole reason to make a short game in the first place.

The limits, said plainly

You can make one game at a time. Start a second while the first is still building and you will be told to wait — closing the screen is fine, it keeps working and notifies you when it is done.

There is a daily cap on how many games you can create and how many messages you can send. When you hit it, DreamCore tells you what time it resets, and after that you can carry on. A paid plan raises those numbers and is the only reason to look at one; there is no feature locked behind it that changes what a game can be.

Making characters from photos has its own allowance, and that one is monthly rather than daily. Run it out and you cannot make new characters until the month turns over — the characters you already made keep working, and making games carries on as normal. Redoing a character and regenerating its images are capped per day instead, so those come back tomorrow. How high any of these sit depends on your plan.

Making takes a few minutes, not seconds. Sometimes a build fails and you have to send the same request again — asking for the same thing a second time usually goes through, and if it fails twice, a shorter and simpler request will land.

To save anything you have to be logged in, because your games live on your account rather than on the device. That is also what lets you pick a game back up on a different phone or laptop. And to publish, you have to choose who can play: link-only to start, everyone if you want it findable, or private if you would rather it stayed yours.

Frequently asked questions

Is there a free AI game maker that doesn't ask for a credit card?

DreamCore's free plan is what you land on by default. You sign in with Google, Apple or email, and you never reach a payment step unless you deliberately go looking at plans.

Do I need an account just to make one game?

Yes, for making and saving. Your games belong to your account rather than to the phone you made them on, which is what lets you carry on from another device later.

What happens when I hit the daily limit?

You get told what time it resets, and you pick up again after that. Nothing you already made is affected — published games stay online and playable the whole time.

Do the people who play my game have to pay or sign up?

Neither. They open the link and play in their browser. Signing in only comes up if they want to react, comment, or put their name on the leaderboard.

Is a game made on the free plan worse than a paid one?

No. Free covers making, image generation and publishing. Paying raises how much you can make per day; it does not unlock a better kind of game.

No. Publishing is part of the free plan, and the share link works for anyone you send it to without them paying or signing up.
